Five Element Acupuncture
Five Elements is a style of acupuncture based on natural laws and an understanding that the Universe is made of Five Elements: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal. It treats a broad spectrum of health issues at the level of body, mind and spirit. When the elements are balanced, order is maintained. When there is an imbalance, symptoms appear. During treatments Sophie restores balance by clearing stubborn energy blocks and redirecting 'qi' using warmth (moxa) and fine needles.
Fire Cupping Therapy
Fire Cupping is one of the three cornerstones of Chinese medicine, the other two being Acupuncture and Herbal medicine. It enhances circulation, speeds up muscle recovery, encourages blood flow, boosts the immune system, removes toxins, reduces pain, calms the nervous system, and has anti-inflammatory effects. It feels great, like being held in a comforting, tight hug.
Treatment Costs
Tumbling Bay Acupuncture treatments are £80 for a 90 minute Initial Consultation charge with Follow-Ups at £60 for a 50 minute treatment. Fire Cupping Therapy is £60 for an 50 minutes. It can be combined with an acupuncture treatment or booked separately. I offer reduced cost acupuncture for students and people on a low income. Get in touch and I'll tell you more here.

Sophie treats patients on Thursday mornings, Friday and Sunday evenings in the Little Acupuncture Room at the West Oxford Community Centre situated on the Botley Road in Oxford. HEAL - Starting with weekly treatments, Sophie releases stubborn blocks and rebalances ‘qi’ or energy. The goal is to provide relief from symptoms and get you feeling more like your old self.
EVOLVE - Once symptoms are under control and you are more balanced, treatments move to fortnightly with the goal of supporting your personal growth

Like Tumbling Bay, Sophie is having her own revival after training at Yellow Path - Gerad Kite’s Five-Element Acupuncture Training where she gained a Licentiate in Five Element Acupuncture.
